About Us

Josselyn Maya, MSW

(Clinician)

Josselyn is a dedicated and compassionate social worker with a deep passion for supporting the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and families. With extensive experience in school social work settings, she has had the privilege of working with students across a wide range of developmental stages, from preschool-aged children as young as three years old through high school students. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to helping young people navigate challenges, build resilience, and reach their full potential.

She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical practice, advocacy, and family-centered care. Throughout her career, Josselyn has worked collaboratively with children, parents, educators, and community partners to create supportive environments that foster emotional growth and positive mental health outcomes.

In addition to her professional experience, Josselyn is a parent of two young children. Her busy family loves to be outside, cherish the small moments, and take life one day at a time. Motherhood has provided her with valuable insight into the joys, challenges, and complexities of parenting. She brings both professional expertise and a parent’s perspective to her work, allowing her to connect authentically with families and deeply understand their unique needs.

Originally born in Ecuador, Josselyn migrated to the United States with her parents when she was three years old. As a bilingual professional fluent in both English and Spanish, she is fully comfortable providing services in either language and is deeply committed to ensuring that individuals and families can access support in the language that feels most comfortable to them.

Josselyn is passionate about empowering children, supporting parents, and strengthening family relationships. She is eager and excited to partner with families on their mental wellness journey, helping them build the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to thrive.
