Insurance
At this time, Lilac Family Counseling is an in-network provider for:
- United Healthcare / Optum
- Additional in-network coverage coming soon
For all others, services are self-pay. If you would like to seek out-of-network reimbursement, we are happy to provide a Superbill upon request. You may submit this directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed, and clients are responsible for contacting their insurance provider to verify out-of-network benefits and coverage details.
Session Fees
- Initial Intake Appointment (approx. 60 minutes): $175
- Individual Therapy Sessions (approx. 55 minutes): $125 per session
- Group Therapy Sessions (approx. 50 minutes): Session fees vary
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit and debit cards.
Good Faith Estimate & No Surprises Act
We are committed to transparency in the cost of care.
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who choose not to use insurance with a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services.
You have the right to:
- Receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency services
- Request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services
- Dispute a bill if it is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate
Your Good Faith Estimate will include the expected cost of your intake appointment ($175) and ongoing therapy sessions ($125 per session), based on your anticipated treatment plan. The estimate will be provided in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service. We encourage you to keep a copy for your records.
